Paychex Insurance Agency has released a post-election statement on health care reform. With the reelection of President Obama last night, his signature health care reform legislation signed into law in 2010 remains on track for implementation in the next few years. Keep in mind that many key provisions of the Affordable Care Act face challenges and uncertain timetables. Specifically, there will likely be delays in launching the new federal and state health insurance “exchanges,” which are currently required to take effect by January 1, 2014. The new Congress could also decide to take action that would have an effect on implementation of the remaining provisions.
As the health insurance marketplace continues to evolve, Paychex Insurance Agency can help you navigate the complexities of the health insurance system and adapt to new requirements and changes or delays in health care reform law implementation.
We will keep you informed about the development of new insurance coverage options and work with you to provide solutions tailored to meet your business needs.
