Skye Gibson joined Merrill Lynch in 2010 after nine-years with a regional public accounting firm and as a business owner. With the accounting firm, Skye valued numerous businesses, was on committees for the state society and was published in industry publications. As a business owner, Skye started and sold three businesses and can relate to the daily challenges business owners face. His previous experience and training through Merrill Lynch make him an excellent compliment to execute the Somers Group’s service model.

Skye is a 2001 graduate of the University of Delaware, with a Bachelor of Science in accounting. He earned a Masters in Business Administration in 2006 from the Whitman School of Management at Syracuse University. Skye currently serves on the board and various committees of the Southern Ocean County Chamber of Commerce and is on the Committee for Planned Giving for the SOCH Foundation. He and his wife, Kristin, reside in the Manahawkin section of Stafford Township, New Jersey, with their son, Karter.
